This campground is located in Shiretoko National Park and is surrounded by deep forest. The campground is a true outdoor campground where you can enjoy the outdoors in its natural state, except for the cooking facilities and restrooms. Each tent site has a fire pit where you can warm yourself by the fire and enjoy the unique time that passes in the forest at night.
Because of its location, the campground is often visited by wild animals. Please check with the manager for information on brown bears. Near the campground is a hidden hot spring called "Kumanoyu. If you stay here, be sure to try the bear baths.
