Haboro Park Golf Course is a generally flat 18-hole course that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and skill levels, including beginners. As its name suggests, the Sakuraike Course is adorned with cherry blossoms in full bloom in spring, allowing you to enjoy park golf amidst beautiful scenery.

Palette Hills is a recreational forest that utilizes the rich nature of Takasu Town. From the observatory, you can get a panoramic view of the Daisetsuzan Mountain Range. Shiokari Pass has long been known as a famous spot for cherry blossoms. In mid-May, about 1,600 Ezo mountain cherry trees cover the entire pass, boasting their beauty. Cherry trees are also planted on both sides of the approximately 14km round-trip road from Shiokari to Minamioka Forest Park. Special JR trains also run, making Shiokari Pass bustling with cherry blossom viewers.

6 Cherry Blossom Cycling Road (Utashinai City): Enjoy Cycling Surrounded by Cherry Blossoms

This is a row of Ezo mountain cherry trees planted along a cycling road that runs through the city. In early May, tempted by the warm weather, the buds burst into bloom all at once. You can enjoy walking or cycling through the tunnel of cherry blossoms that envelops the cycling road.

7 Sakurayama Park (Fukagawa City): Enjoy Food and Exercise While Viewing Cherry Blossoms

Sakurayama Park is a nature park known as one of the city's best cherry blossom spots. Every spring, the "Shimin Sakura Matsuri" (Citizens' Cherry Blossom Festival) is held, and the park bustles with many visitors enjoying barbecues while viewing the cherry blossoms. The park also features a park golf course and the Sakurayama Power-Up Road, a running course.

Tomei Park, located on a hill, is said to be the best spot for cherry blossoms and azaleas in the Sorachi region. Nakafurano Forest Park is located up past the rural landscapes and flower gardens that spread at the foot of Mount Tokachi. In spring, cherry blossoms and tulips bloom, and in autumn, the area is enveloped in autumn colors, creating a quiet and peaceful space. If you're lucky, you might even encounter an Ezo squirrel.

10 Murakamiyama Park (Pippu Town): A Serene Landscape with Cherry Blossoms and the Majestic Daisetsuzan Mountain Range

Murakamiyama Park, which opened as a park in May 1963, features about 400 cherry and azalea trees planted to commemorate the town's establishment in 1962, which burst into bloom in spring. From the summit, you can get a full view of the town's central area and a view of the majestic Daisetsuzan Mountain Range in front.
