Asuka Shiromaru (@Asuka_Shiromaru ), who is based in Wakkanai, Japan's northernmost city, and publishes the manga "Shiromaru's Northernmost Journal," made it a routine to tweet and upload images of "Kesa's Northernmost Clown" on Twitter and Instagram.
This is the "McDonald's 40 Wakkanai Store" in Wakkanai City, Hokkaido.
Known as "the northernmost McDonald's in Japan," there is a bench outside the store, and the mascot "Donald" sitting comfortably has become a kind of "specialty" that many people have come to know and love.

In order for people to feel familiar with McDonald's as a McDonald's that exists in the community, we have installed a Donald bench along with the Golden Arch to commemorate the northernmost McDonald's, along with the northernmost monument at the No. 40 Wakkanai store, which is the northernmost McDonald's.
