What is "Hokkaido's Kelp Fair", a great collection of delicious kelp unique to Hokkaido!
Hokkaido kelp is valued as a "tasty food stopper. The "Hokkaido Kombu Fair" started at Kita Kitchen Aurora Town on September 28 (Wed.), where you can learn about the charms of kombu, such as the various ways to eat kombu, not only as a "hide and seek" flavor.
Kelp from all over Hokkaido is on display!
Rishiri kelp, Rausu kelp, Hidaka kelp, Makon kelp, quick boiled kelp, and other kelp from Hokkaido are all on display. Also, a wide variety of processed kelp products such as kelp dashi, grated yam kelp, tsukudani, furikake, shochu, and snacks will be available. The "Kombu Zukushi Onigiri Set" (594 yen, tax included), planned especially for this event, is a luxurious set using products that will actually be sold at the store.
