1 Japan's Largest Beer Garden! Famous Domestic Brewers and World Beers Gather in Odori Park at the Sapporo Odori Beer Garden

Japan's largest beer garden, a symbol of summer in Sapporo, is finally kicking off. The venue, stretching from Nishi 5-chome to 11-chome in Odori Park, boasts over 10,000 seats. Here, you can enjoy unique setups, beers, and perfect food pairings from Japan's four major beer companies. There are also sections to savor international brews, such as the "World Beer Square," featuring draft beers from around the globe and local Hokkaido breweries, and the "Sapporo German Village," where you can taste authentic draft beer imported directly from Munich, Germany.

Each area is designed for comfort, with features like mobile ordering, service where staff bring your drinks and food, counter seats for solo visitors or small groups, and tented seating to enjoy regardless of the weather. In addition to each brewer's signature beers, the food menus are a must-try, featuring Hokkaido gourmet specialties and live kitchens serving up fresh, hot dishes.

2 Sapporo's Arcade Shopping Street Gets a Festival Makeover! Don't Miss the Once-a-Year Bargain at the 73rd Tanuki Matsuri

The "73rd Tanuki Matsuri," a summer tradition in Sapporo's Tanukikoji Shopping Street, kicks off on the 23rd. For about a month, the entire shopping arcade will be vibrantly decorated, creating a special summer festival atmosphere that's exciting just to walk through.

The giant mascot of Tanukikoji Shopping Street, "Dakkopon," will also make an appearance.

The highlight of the event is the once-a-year "Night Bargain" held on Saturday, July 25th. In addition to special sales available only on this day, there will be a host of activities including live performances, raffles, and food stalls, allowing you to enjoy bargain shopping while exploring the unique stores. In August, powerful traditional performances are also scheduled, such as a thrilling mikoshi (portable shrine) parade and Tanuki-daiko drum performances.

3 Step into the World of a Hit Anime! Experience the Epic Story in the Animation JUJUTSU KAISEN Exhibition "Hidden Inventory / Premature Death" & "Shibuya Incident"

A special exhibition where you can experience the story of the hit TV anime 'JUJUTSU KAISEN' is coming to Daimaru Sapporo. The venue will feature displays inspired by scenes from the anime, as well as a large collection of production materials such as valuable original animation drawings, storyboards, and design documents, allowing you to experience the epic tale of two curses, "Hidden Inventory / Premature Death" and "Shibuya Incident," up close.

A luxurious special audio guide featuring the main cast is available, allowing you to immerse yourself even deeper into the world of the anime. Additionally, special merchandise-inclusive tickets that come with a limited-quantity "Perpetual Calendar" and original merchandise will be on sale.

4 Giant Dinosaurs Appear at Sapporo Factory! A 200-Meter-Long Outdoor Maze: Dinosaur Maze: Jurassic Maze in SAPPORO

A giant outdoor maze, approximately 200 meters long, has appeared in the west plaza of Sapporo Factory. Along the fence-built maze, massive dinosaurs like a realistically moving and roaring Tyrannosaurus, Spinosaurus, and Triceratops will appear, offering a thrilling experience that feels like you've time-slipped into the age of dinosaurs.

A great feature is that you are free to take photos and videos inside, so you can enjoy taking commemorative pictures with the impressive dinosaurs. Furthermore, on Friday and Saturday nights during the event period, a special "Night Museum" will be held, offering a unique and different atmosphere.
