Rabbit Yukine

Rabbit Yukine is the pet character of "Snow Miku," a character who supports Hokkaido, and is based on the Ezo mountain hare. It was born in 2014 after being selected in a public contest for a pet for Snow Miku, with the theme of "animal characters based on Hokkaido's winter."

Rabbit Yukine's Bingo Stamp Rally Adventure in Asahikawa & Bibai: Day 1
10:00 AM Depart from JR Sapporo Station (Stamp Spot)

The journey begins at Sapporo Station. Before you arrive at the station, scan the Bingo Stamp Rally QR code and register to participate on the official website. Registration is easy—just enter your name and a password. Once you're ready, get the "Station A" stamp at Sapporo Station! To get a stamp, simply go to the location and confirm your position with GPS. After successfully getting the stamp, it's time to board the limited express train to JR Asahikawa Station.

We've arrived at Asahikawa Station! You can get the "Station B" stamp here, so let's check in right away. Now, let's head to today's main attraction, the Asahiyama Zoo, by bus.

12:25 PM Asahiyama Zoo (Stamp Spot)

Take your time and enjoy the afternoon at Asahiyama Zoo! Popular with children and families alike, the zoo features a variety of unique and creative exhibits that let you see animals in their natural element.

For lunch at the zoo, we recommend the Genghis Khan Curry, topped with Wassamu-style grilled lamb. The hearty lamb and rich curry flavor will warm you right up. After lunch, around 2:00 PM, you'll have a chance to see the famous penguin walk! This adorable parade is sure to warm your heart.
Asahiyama Zoo

6:00 PM Dinner (Asahikawa Ramen)

After a full day of fun at the zoo, you'll be starving by the time you get back to Asahikawa Station. For dinner, let's have some Asahikawa ramen. There are many ramen shops around Asahikawa Station, each with its own unique style. But when you're in Asahikawa, you have to try the shoyu (soy sauce) ramen! The rich broth and satisfying noodles will warm your body, chilled by the Asahikawa cold.
There are many nationally famous shops around the station, so feel free to just drop in. Once you're full, it's time to head to our hotel for the night.
8:00 PM Hotel Route-Inn Grand Asahikawa Ekimae

Despite its prime location in front of the station, Hotel Route-Inn Grand Asahikawa Ekimae has its own onsen, which uses water from Tenninkyo Onsen. The slightly cloudy water is popular for its ability to keep you warm long after you get out. The large public bath is on the 17th floor, so you can enjoy a relaxing soak while taking in the night view.

Rabbit Yukine's Bingo Stamp Rally Adventure in Asahikawa & Bibai: Day 2
9:30 AM Heiwadori Shopping Park

On day two, after a leisurely breakfast, we head to the shopping park! Heiwadori Shopping Park is a pedestrian-only street that stretches for about 1 km. It's lined with restaurants, department stores, and more, so let's enjoy a stroll and some shopping!

After enjoying our walk, we'll head to the other destination of our trip, Bibai City.

12:30 PM Kan Yasuda Sculpture Museum, Arte Piazza Bibai (Stamp Spot)

After about a 30-minute bus ride from Bibai Station, we arrive at the Kan Yasuda Sculpture Museum, Arte Piazza Bibai. This art museum exhibits the works of world-renowned sculptor Kan Yasuda. Many of his works are displayed outdoors, creating a harmony between the sculptures and the natural landscape of Bibai. In winter, the surrounding snowy scenery gives it a completely different atmosphere from summer. There are also sculptures inside the museum for you to enjoy at a leisurely pace.

Inside the facility, "Cafe Arte" is a very spacious area, and the view from the window is like a painting. It feels as if time flows quietly here. Savor a delicious potage made with Bibai ingredients and some bread, and let yourself be captivated by the world of sculpture created by Kan Yasuda.

Next, let's head to the final destination of our trip, the Blue Grotto Onsen, Pipa no Yu Yurin-kan.

"Blue Grotto Onsen, Pipa no Yu Yurin-kan" is an onsen facility located on a hilltop. The spring quality is a sodium bicarbonate spring, characterized by its silky-smooth water. It's also known as a "bijin-no-yu" (beauty spring) and is very popular. Let's take a long soak and get silky smooth skin.

After soothing our travel fatigue in the onsen, we'll take the Limited Express Lilac 34 from Bibai Station back to Sapporo Station.
