2. "Hinode Lavender Garden" (Kamifurano Town), a popular date spot
This is a view spot where you can enjoy the lavender fields spreading all over from the west side of the observatory at the top of a small hill, the scenery of the town and the sunset spreading out behind, and the magnificent Tokachi Mountain Range to the east side. The "Bell of Love" monument is popular among couples who vow their love here to fulfill it, and weddings can also be held here. The largest flower garden in the Furano area, Flowerland Kamifurano has restaurants and stores in addition to flower gardens. 10. "Kurose Lavender Garden" (Sunagawa City), a hole-in-the-wall spot that started as a hobby
This lavender garden is managed by a private farmer in Sunagawa City. The owner, Mr. Kurose, started the garden around 1980 as a hobby, and it has become a well-known spot among people in the know. There is a cute pavilion at the top of the hill where lavenders are in full bloom, and Mount Pinneshiri can be seen in the distance. Freshly picked vegetables are sold directly at the store in the parking lot.
