1. Farm Tomita: Hokkaido's Iconic Lavender Field (Nakafurano Town)
A highly popular lavender spot, Farm Tomita also offers a variety of other flower fields that color the hills from spring to autumn. With a long history as a lavender farm, the park has shops, cafes, and even a lavender museum, making it a place you can enjoy all day. About 4km away in Kamifurano Town, "Lavender East," a field for perfume production run by Farm Tomita, is also open for a limited time. The lavender field spreading out with the Tokachi Mountain Range in the background is a spectacular view.

2. Hinode Lavender Garden: A Popular Date Spot (Kamifurano Town)
This is a scenic spot where you can enjoy the lavender field spreading out from the west side of the observatory at the top of a small hill, with the townscape and sunset in the distance. To the east, you can see the magnificent Tokachi Mountain Range. Furthermore, there is a "Bell of Love" monument, and it's popular with couples as it is said that vows of love made here will be fulfilled. You can even have a wedding ceremony here. There is also an auto campground in the park, so it would be fun to enjoy lavender while camping.

3. Shikisai-no-Oka: Vibrant Colors Spread Across the Hills (Biei Town)
Not just lavender, but a combination of colorful flowers creates flower fields that can be enjoyed from spring to autumn, resembling a landscape with vibrant colors spread on a palette. On the vast 15-hectare site, there are not only flower fields but also shops, restaurants, and an alpaca farm. You can also tour the area by tractor bus or cart, making it a spot that symbolizes the "hill town of Biei" and can be enjoyed by everyone from adults to children.

4. Kanno Farm: A Soothing Sight for Passing Drivers (Kamifurano Town)
This farm is located along National Route 237, which connects Kamifurano Town and Biei Town. The beautiful flowers, mainly lavender, that color the hills are a delight for passing drivers. The hill with red salvia planted in a large heart shape is arguably the symbol of the farm. Admission is free, making it easy to stop by. At the shop, you can enjoy lavender goods and harvested potatoes and corn.

5. Hokuseiyama Lavender Garden: Enjoy the View from a Chairlift (Nakafurano Town)
This is the only spot in the country where you can enjoy the blooming flowers on a mountain slope, which is a ski resort in winter, while riding a chairlift in summer. Flower fields of lavender, sunflowers, marigolds, and salvia spread out, and from the observation space at the top, you can get a grand panoramic view of the Tokachi Mountain Range. 6. Flower Land Kamifurano: A Carpet of Flowers Changing Colors with the Seasons (Kamifurano Town)
Boasting the largest flower fields in the Furano area, the park also has restaurants and shops. Starting with lupines that reach full bloom in June, followed by lavender in July, and then a riot of colorful flowers like salvia, dahlias, and zinnias from August to September. The colors of the flowers, scattered colorfully, combined with the view of the rural landscape from the hill, create a vast panoramic view typical of Hokkaido.

This is an accommodation facility with a hot spring surrounded by a lush forest, and from the open-air bath, you can get a panoramic view of the lavender field, commonly known as the "Sea of Lavender." In addition to the scent of the hot spring and lavender, you can also enjoy forest bathing on the walking path in the adjacent "Lavender Forest," allowing you to spend a luxurious time refreshing both mind and body.

10. Kurose Lavender Garden: A Hidden Gem That Started as a Hobby (Sunagawa City)
This is a lavender garden in Sunagawa City managed by a private farmer. Mr. Kurose, the owner, started it as a hobby around 1980, and it has now become a spot known to those in the know. At the top of the hill where lavender blooms, there is a cute gazebo from which you can see Mount Pinneshiri in the distance. At the shop in the parking lot, freshly picked vegetables are sold directly.
