The former PIVOT site (South 2 West 4) will be transformed into a facility with two underground floors and 19 floors above ground, divided into three main areas: a store area, an office area, and a hotel area.
The first and second basement floors are store areas. It is directly connected to the underground shopping mall, Pole Town, and includes a rest area called "Tsunagari no Ko" (Place of Connection). The 3rd to 8th floors are the office area. A "coworking place" will be set up inside. Finally, the 10th to 18th floors are the hotel area, which will house TRUNK (HOTEL) SAPPORO.
Preparations for this facility, which will make the most of the potential of its location in the Odori district, where business and commercial areas intermingle, are underway under the name "Sapporo Daibiru Redevelopment Project," with new construction beginning in June 2024 and scheduled for completion at the end of January 2027.
