Sarutahiko Coffee is a famous coffee shop originating from Ebisu, Tokyo, which opened in 2011 and has become a very popular store with 17 branches in the Kanto area alone. Some of you may have heard of the coffee shop through its Georgia European series, but now, Sarutahiko Coffee has opened its first store in Sapporo, Hokkaido.
The D-LIFEPLACE Sapporo store, directly connected to Chikaho, drew huge lines from the first day it opened.
The first Sarutahiko Coffee D-LIFEPLACE Sapporo store in Hokkaido will open on November 23, 2023 (Thursday). When the decision was made to open the first store in Hokkaido, it became a hot topic of conversation, especially among coffee lovers, and there was a huge line of customers on the first day of opening. The location is a four-minute walk from JR Sapporo Station, a short walk from Sapporo Subway Station, and directly connected to Chi Kaho (underground pedestrian space in front of Sapporo Station), making it an easy place to stop by.
To celebrate the opening, the first 1,000 customers received a Daikichi Blend drip bag and a limited-time opening coupon.
Limited "Sapporo Blend" and the pre-release "Berry Berry Custard Latte" were also available.
At Sarutahiko Coffee D-LIFEPLACE Sapporo, the perfect original blend "Sapporo Blend" was on sale. It features smooth, rich, sweet dark chocolate with a lingering lavender-like aroma.
In addition, "Berry Berry Custard Latte" was released ahead of the rest of the country. The "Berry Berry Custard Latte" features a homemade berry sauce made from strawberries, raspberries, and red cherries, matched with mellow espresso. It is topped with homemade custard whip and berry sauce.
As it is located in an office district, there is a full morning menu. The "Prosciutto and Cheese Panini," which is also available for pre-sale, is a new weekday morning menu item. The simple ingredients of prosciutto ham and cheese are sandwiched on crispy baked focaccia from the company's own bakery brand, "Occhino," which is a perfect match.

The coffee available at Sarutahiko Coffee is a high grade coffee called "specialty coffee. Specialty coffee is a coffee version of "vegetables with a visible face. If the farmer discloses more detailed information about the coffee beans, you can even tell which plot of the field the coffee was grown on.
