There is a castle in Hokkaido that looks like an aquarium!
A fantasy aquarium that looks like something out of a movie! This is Noboribetsu Marine Park Nix, located in Noboribetsu City, Hokkaido. The central building, "Nix Castle," is modeled after an actual old castle in Denmark, and 20,000 creatures are on display.
The contributor is Mr. Kabutsu, who tours aquariums nationwide as a hobby. We asked him about the story at the end of September last year, when this photo was taken.

It is like a castle! What are the highlights of Noboribetsu Marine Park Nix?
The owner of the post, who loves the aquarium, introduced some of the highlights of the museum from the photos he took. The exterior of the building is modeled after the real-life "Ysko Castle" in Denmark, and you will be surprised at the solemn atmosphere that you would not expect from an aquarium.
The escalator just after entering the building. It is a thrilling escalator with sharks swimming when you look down from the handrail.
A shark called a white alligator that can be seen in the tunnel tank. You can see the shark that you saw from the escalator, but now you can see it up close.
The powerful photos that seem to convey even the air inside the aquarium make you want to go to the aquarium just by looking at them. The amusement park "Nixland" is also open on weekends and holidays from spring through fall, making it a perfect destination for a fun-filled family outing! If you are interested, why not stop by?
