This time, we're introducing the Shiretoko Rausu Igetaya "Rausu Kombu Soup Satisfaction Set."

☆ How to make Nimono for 2 servings ☆

The recommended ratio is 1 part Kombu Soup Base to 6 parts water!

Just add your favorite vegetables and simmer!

The flavors meld as it cools, so the key is to let it cool once, taste it, and if it's not quite right, add a little more of the concentrate to the broth and mix.

② Ojiya (Rice Porridge)

140g rice (1 bowl)
100cc water
1 tbsp soup base
1 egg (beaten)
Chopped green onions, to taste

Put everything in a bowl and microwave at 600w for 1 minute. Stir, then microwave for another minute.
Sprinkle with finely chopped green onions.

 

③ Dashimaki Tamago (Japanese Rolled Omelette)

4 eggs
100cc water
A little less than 1 tbsp soup base (or 2 tsp)

The key is to mix well.
Using oil even with a Teflon-coated pan will result in a moist finish!

Chemicle Inc. is located in Rausu, a part of "Shiretoko," which was designated a World Natural Heritage site in 2005.
Among the seafood harvested in this world-renowned rich natural environment is "Rausu Kombu," so rare and high-quality that it is called the "King of Kombu."

Only beautiful kombu with uniform color and shape makes it to the market, but even kombu with irregular color and shape has the same amount of effort put into it and the same delicious umami.

Therefore, we established "Chemicle Inc." with the desire to "utilize these high-quality resources that don't make it to the market."

The name "Chemicle" is a portmanteau of "chemical" and "recycle."

Currently, we have two brands: "Shiretoko Rausu Igetaya," which offers a lineup of soups and furikake for daily use so you can easily and deliciously enjoy the umami of Rausu Kombu, and "YUKIDOMARI SWEETS," souvenir sweets sold only locally in Rausu.

Our roots lie with the "Igeta Ashizaki," fishermen from Toyama Prefecture who settled in the undeveloped land of Shiretoko long ago in search of high-quality kombu.
This name was also the name of the seafood store that my father had to give up on, his dream unfulfilled.

Inheriting the aspirations of our predecessors and my father, we develop products that can be used from breakfast onwards, from the region where the sun rises earliest in Japan, so that more people can easily enjoy Rausu Kombu and other seafood at their dinner tables.
