Sunset from Sanbonsugi Iwa (Setona Town)
Sanbonsugi Iwa" is the symbol of Setanamachi. It is about 30 meters high and made of hard black pyroxene andesite.
It is a must-see when you come to Setetana.
The sunset over Sanbonsugi Iwa over the Sea of Japan is very beautiful and highly recommended.

Sanbonsugi Iwa" in Setonamachi consists of three rocks, two of which are connected to each other and one of which stands slightly apart.
The sunset seen through these rocks is beautiful and a popular spot for photography.
There are various ways to see the sunset from different angles, so please go there to find your favorite one!
Two Tons by the Sea (Date City)
Kitafunaoka Station faces Ekka Bay.
In the afternoon, with snow-capped Mt. Komagatake clearly visible on the opposite shore, a train arrived with a nostalgic color scheme, like a diesel train from the Japan National Railways era.

As the train runs along the Eruption Bay, you can't miss the scenery from the windows of the car while it is running.

This is a fantastic spot where you can enjoy both the actual cherry blossoms and their reflection on the water.
This time of year, the reflection of the trees and plants on the surface of the water makes it a different and more beautiful place. I am looking forward to seeing what the scenery will be like in the fall when the leaves turn red!
