1 "Nakajima Park Autumn Foliage Light-Up Event" to light up the ginkgo trees and Japanese garden

Four locations in Nakajima Park, including the ginkgo-lined avenue and the Japanese garden, will be fantastically lit up. In addition, there will be Geiko performances by the Sapporo Meiko-ren, matcha tea ceremony, sales of oshiruko (sweet red-bean soup), and kitchen car vendors.

2 Held at the same time as Nakajima Park Light-up! Popular event "Sapporo Yaki-imo Terrace 2024

The popular event "Sapporo Yaki-imo Terrace," which was held for the first time last year in 2023 and attracted about 30,000 visitors, will be held again this year to add color to Sapporo's autumn season! The event will feature not only yaki-imo (baked sweet potatoes) and sweet potato sweets made using a special recipe, but also shochu (Japanese liquor), sake, craft beer, and other alcoholic beverages, as well as snacks made with seasonal autumn ingredients, all of which will be available at Sapporo Nakajima Park.

3 "The 13th Hokkaido University Golden Leaf Festival", a fantastic lighting up of ginkgo trees in Hokkaido University

One of the tourist attractions in Sapporo, Hokkaido University's ginkgo trees are fantastically lit up for two days only. This year marks the 13th time this event has been held, and is an annual autumn event that attracts many visitors every year. In addition to the glittering incandescent lights, the ginkgo trees are illuminated in full color, creating a fantastic sight.
