1 Nakajima Park Autumn Leaves Light-up Event: Illuminating the Ginkgo Avenue and Japanese Garden

Four locations within Nakajima Park, including the Ginkgo Avenue and the Japanese Garden, will be fantastically illuminated. In addition, there will be Geigi (geisha) performances by the Sapporo Meigiren, a matcha tea experience, sales of oshiruko (sweet red bean soup), and food trucks.

2 Held alongside the Nakajima Park light-up! The popular "Sapporo Yaki-Imo Terrace 2024"

First held in 2023 and attracting about 30,000 visitors, the popular "Sapporo Yaki-Imo Terrace" event that colors Sapporo's autumn is back this year! Autumn's flavors gather in Sapporo's Nakajima Park, featuring roasted sweet potatoes made with special methods, sweet potato desserts, as well as alcoholic beverages like shochu, sake, and craft beer, and appetizers made with seasonal autumn ingredients.

3 A magical illumination of Hokkaido University's Ginkgo Avenue: The 13th Hokudai Kin'yousai

One of Sapporo's famous tourist spots, the Ginkgo Avenue at Hokkaido University, will be magically illuminated for two days only. Now in its 13th year, this is an annual autumn event that attracts many visitors. In addition to the dazzling incandescent lights, the ginkgo avenue colored in full spectrum is a truly fantastic sight.
