One of the first Christmas events to come to Sapporo is the Jumbo Christmas Tree at Sapporo Factory. A lighting ceremony will be held on Saturday, November 2 at 5:00 p.m. to light up the tree and all the building's lights as the countdown begins. The 15-meter tree is decorated with about 50,000 LED lights and 1,500 ornaments, and a five-minute light and music show will be held every hour to set the mood for Christmas in Sapporo.
