1 Popular event filled with Christmas mood: "Sapporo Factory 2024 Jumbo Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony"
The Sapporo Factory's Jumbo Christmas Tree is one of the earliest Christmas events to arrive in Sapporo! A lighting ceremony will be held on Saturday, November 2nd at 5pm, during which the tree and the illuminations throughout the building will be lit up in time with the countdown. The 15m tall tree will be decorated with around 50,000 LED lights and 1,500 ornaments. A light and music show will be held every hour for around 5 minutes, helping to liven up the Christmas mood in Sapporo.

2 Sapporo Art Stage 2024, where Chi-Ka-Ho and other attractions will be decorated with art
This is a festival where the city of Sapporo is colored with art for a month, including fine arts, theater, and music. You can enjoy a wide variety of events in a wide range of artistic fields at various locations in Sapporo, mainly in the underground pedestrian space in front of the station (Chi-Ka-Ho) and the Sapporo Cultural Arts Communication Center (SCARTS). This year marks the 20th anniversary, and there are plenty of events to further expand the circle of art, such as memorial workshops.

3 The Blue Period exhibition is also being held! Hands-on manga exhibition "SAPPORO MANGA PARK"
At the "SAPPORO MANGA PARK," which is being held as an "experiential manga exhibition," you can enjoy exhibits introducing the works of manga artists with ties to Hokkaido and Sapporo, a library of selected manga that will touch your heart, and workshops by creators active in the prefecture. The "Blue Period Exhibition in Sapporo" is also being held on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays during the period.

4 "PLACE1" where you can enjoy music and sports in a vacant lot in the middle of Odori
This event is held in a vacant lot in Odori Nishi 1-chome, Chuo-ku, Sapporo, and explores the possibilities of new urban development through music, sports, and talk. As a platform for thinking about the future of Sapporo, you can enjoy a variety of content such as professional basketball, street dance, and live music for free.
There will be a lot of events, such as a free live performance by artists who live or are from Hokkaido, a 3x3 (three-on-three basketball) game, a talk session about the future urban development of Sapporo, and a powerful street dance performance.
