Snow Brand Parlour has one store each in Sapporo and Otaru, and four stores at New Chitose Airport. The Sapporo Main Store, which we will introduce this time, is just a few minutes' walk from Sapporo Station and Odori Station, making it conveniently located for sightseeing. In 2017, it moved to its current location and reopened after renovation, and in the spacious store you can enjoy shopping for sweets, snacks, and even souvenirs.

When Snow Brand Parlour was founded in the 1960s, sweets and Western cuisine such as parfaits and ice cream were rare. In 1966, Snow Brand Parlour, which was a pioneer in stores where customers could enjoy delicious dairy products, received a request from the Imperial Household Agency to "make the best ice cream for the Emperor and Empress, who would be attending the Hokkaido Centennial Ceremony in August 1968." After two years of trial production, "Snow Royal" was born.

"Snow Royal" is a premium ice cream that was perfected by pursuing the original flavor of milk, and the same blend and manufacturing method are still used today. It is now available as a standalone ice cream exclusively at the Sapporo main store, and is also used in some parfaits. Also, ice cream cups are sold at all Snow Brand Parlor stores, so you can take it out. This exquisite ice cream, worthy of the name Royal, is a must-try.
