Tour Mikasa, Hokkaido with Snow Miku: A Journey Through 100 Million Years with the "Mikasa City x Snow Miku" Campaign!
Snow Miku, the character who cheers for Hokkaido, is now supporting Mikasa City, the 'town where you can travel through 100 million years'! The "Mikasa City x Snow Miku Town Tour Campaign" will be held from Friday, January 31 to Tuesday, September 30, taking you on a journey to discover the charms of Mikasa.
What is the "Mikasa City x Snow Miku Town Tour Campaign"?
Mikasa City, Hokkaido, known as the birthplace of Hokkaido's coal and railway industries, is located about an hour's drive northeast from Sapporo via the expressway. During the "Mikasa City x Snow Miku Town Tour Campaign," a "Mikasa City x Snow Miku Town Tour Map" featuring recommended spots in the city will be distributed. In addition, newly illustrated visuals of Snow Miku and Rabbit Yukine traveling through the town will appear as collaboration panels at various locations. Be sure to take a commemorative photo with them to remember your trip.

Snow Miku is a character developed by Crypton Future Media, INC. to support Hokkaido. She was born in 2010 when a pure white snow sculpture of "Hatsune Miku" was created for the "Sapporo Snow Festival." Since then, the "SNOW MIKU" festival, starring Snow Miku, has been held in Hokkaido every year. The costume design for Snow Miku at the festival is chosen through a public competition with a different theme each year. The theme for 2025 is "Glittering Snow Material." Today, she serves as an ambassador for various initiatives to promote Hokkaido and collaborates with companies and other characters, expanding her support in many directions. Since September 2024, she has also been active as a Sapporo Tourism Ambassador.
