Sapporo's Premier Winter Event: The 75th Sapporo Snow Festival
Started in 1950, the Sapporo Snow Festival is now a major winter event in Sapporo, attracting over 2 million visitors from Japan and abroad. Odori Park is lined with large snow sculptures, as well as small to medium-sized ones and citizen-made sculptures, with projection mapping displays at night. The venue also features various booths where you can enjoy winter attractions. At the Susukino Site, beautifully illuminated ice sculptures create a magical atmosphere.
Furthermore, the Tsudome Site is packed with giant slides and numerous activities for the whole family to enjoy. You can have fun with a variety of winter activities both indoors and outdoors.

Enjoy Ice Skating at the Snow Festival Venue: "Smile Link Sapporo Supported by Shin Ramyun"
"Smile Link Sapporo" is a place where everyone, from adults to children, can casually enjoy ice skating. After being held at Sapporo Kita 3-jo Plaza (Akapla) in 2023 and 2024, the event will move to Odori Park 3-chome in 2025, taking place within the Sapporo Snow Festival venue. Skate rentals are available, so you don't need to worry! Come and enjoy an ice skating experience in the heart of Sapporo in winter.

A Festival Where Snow Miku Cheers for Hokkaido: "SNOW MIKU 2025"
This is a festival for "Snow Miku (Hatsune Miku)," a character who supports Hokkaido and serves as a Sapporo tourism ambassador. Held annually in Hokkaido since 2010, the theme for the 16th event is "Glittering Snow Material." "Snow Miku," dressed in a fantastical costume inspired by crystals and snow, and her pet character "Rabbit Yukine" will appear as a snow sculpture at the Sapporo Snow Festival's Odori 11-chome Site. Additionally, a fully wrapped "Snow Miku Tram" will be in operation, adding to the excitement of winter in Sapporo.
