A food festival where you can taste the seasonal flavors of Toyoura Town. In addition to on-the-spot sales of fresh Toyoura-grown scallops and grilled scallops, 21 stalls from four cities and four towns will be offering local delicacies. Furthermore, the "World Scallop Fishing Championship" is a famous event where participants compete to catch scallops, leading to a heated battle among those who pass the preliminaries.

Held at the Sunlaiva Ski Resort, this event is packed with snow games for all ages, from adults to children, including mandarin orange picking and a tug-of-war against the Yukijin (hot spring demons). There will also be a mochi-scattering event on the snow, making it an event full of winter excitement.

EVENT 4 An Awe-Inspiring Display of Over 1,000 Hina and Musha Dolls at the 16th Hina & Musha Doll Festival (Fukushima Town)

During the period from the Hina Doll Festival to the Tango no Sekku (Boys' Day Festival), over 1,000 Hina dolls and Musha (warrior) dolls will be on display. The sight of them all lined up is truly breathtaking. In addition, precious artifacts excavated from the Fukushima Town Tatezaki Ruins will also be exhibited.

"Tsurumaki Gakudan" is a theater company based in Sapporo with a nationwide presence. This performance is a presentation of Shakespeare's earliest tragedy, showcasing the year-long efforts of a wide range of students, from middle schoolers to working adults, who participated in the company's acting workshop. The raw performances of these students, who have cherished the significance of incorporating creative expression into their daily lives, are a must-see.
