1Jewelry Ice (Toyokoro Town)
Jewelry Ice" is an ice block that is washed up on the Otsu Coast as beautiful, crystal-clear ice. The sparkling, glittering, gem-like spectacle scattered along the beach is a must-see when illuminated by the sunlight! It is a popular spot for tourists and photographers because of its photogenic photo opportunities.
The best time to visit is from mid-January to late February, during the morning and evening sun. Please be prepared for the cold weather.

2Ikeda Town Institute of Grapes and Grape Wine (Wine Castle)
The "Wine Castle," as it is commonly known, was established in the 1930s as the nation's first municipal winery and was built in 1949, and will be renovated in June 2020!
There is a tour course, an underground aging room, a corridor museum, a shopping area, and much more. It is also recommended to enjoy Tokachi food and wine on the rooftop terrace or on the grounds' lawn while watching the sunset, which has been selected as one of the "100 Sunsets of Japan.

3Obihiro Racecourse (Banei Tokachi )
The world's only Banei horse race is held all year round.
The sight of horses weighing over one ton pulling a steel sled is truly breathtaking when seen up close!
On the grounds, there is a "petting zoo" where you can interact with cute animals, a market where you can buy a wide variety of Tokachi souvenirs, and restaurants and sweet stores that use Tokachi products.
The "Horse Museum" and backyard tours are also recommended.

4Carriage BAR (HOTEL NUPKA/HOTEL NUPKA)
After enjoying the drive, how about leaving your car behind and heading out into Obihiro at night for a drink at the new tourist spot, "Horse-drawn Carriage BAR"?
On the way, when the horses take a break, you can feed them carrots and take commemorative photos. There is nothing better than enjoying a drink while listening to the sound of hoofs echoing on the asphalt and swaying to the unique rhythm of the horses' walk.
In winter, enjoy the illumination and snowy scenery for a short while and enjoy an extraordinary experience.

5Ikinuki Dori Kita no Yatai
Kita no Yatai is located on Ikinuki-dori Street in Obihiro City. There are about 20 yakitori restaurants, izakaya (Japanese style pubs), French, Chinese, and Korean food, and obanzai (traditional Japanese dishes), all of which are rare among yatai stalls!
If you have trouble choosing a restaurant, why not try "hashigo-zake" one by one? You can enjoy the whole of Tokachi with menus that use Tokachi ingredients and sake.
Enjoy the unique experience of a food stall that will warm your body and soul during the cold season.
