BLUE POND opened on the basement floor of the Daimaru Sapporo store, directly in front of the escalator. It is a caramel milk sweets specialty store that offers two products: the "New Texture Caramel Milk Sandwich" and the "New Sensation Caramel Cheesecake."

"Caramel Crispy" and "Pistachio Caramel Crispy"
The product was supervised by two specialists: Machimura Farm, a dairy pioneer with over 100 years of history, and Calm Tsunoyama, a company pioneering the future of dairy farming with cutting-edge technology. By combining ingredients such as high-quality raw milk and butter grown in Hokkaido's fertile soil with the skills and knowledge of experts, the sweets are a condensed version of the history and future of Hokkaido's dairy farming.

Their signature product, "Caramel Crispy," can be stored at room temperature and is perfect as a souvenir or gift. It has a crunchy, fluffy, and creamy texture. Caramel sauce made from Hokkaido raw milk is wrapped in fluffy Hokkaido white chocolate and coated with a crispy caramel fondant. The outer crispy dough is made with butter from Machimura Farm in Ebetsu City, a farm with over 100 years of history.

Blue Pond Caramel Fromage is a new type of caramel cheesecake coated in glossy jelly. Its beautiful, clear blue color is reminiscent of the beautiful lakes and ponds of Hokkaido, such as the Blue Pond in Biei and Lake Onneto in Ashoro.

Boxed with dividers
The transparent exterior is made of water jelly made from "Yuki no Mizu" (snow water) from Mount Daisetsu in Hokkaido. The inside is a cheese mousse cake made with organic milk from the Calm Kakuyama Group, with a rich caramel sauce made with Hokkaido butter hidden inside. The bottom is made of a crunchy, crispy dough made with Hokkaido butter from Machimura Farm. It's just delicious!

After enjoying the beautiful, glossy and transparent appearance for a while, it was time to try it. The cheese mousse was refreshing with a slight tartness. The rich caramel sauce added depth to the flavor, and the crispy crust with its buttery flavor was just the right accent.
