1 The popular autumn event is back again this year! Enjoy delicious roasted sweet potatoes at "Sapporo Roasted Sweet Potato Terrace 2025"

The Sapporo Yakimo Terrace, which will be held for the first time in 2023 and attracted approximately 60,000 visitors last year in 2024, will be held again this year at Nakajima Park. There will be a record nine baked sweet potato booths, as well as sweets booths, food trucks, sweet potato liquor, and a farm-to-table greengrocer, for a total of approximately 20 stores.

The store mainly serves sweet potato treats in and around Sapporo, with some newcomers from Tokachi and Kyoto. They offer a wide variety of baked sweet potatoes, including those baked in a pot or stone oven, as well as sweet potato cakes, churros, and other sweet potato sweets. At the retro Showa-era corner bar-style alcohol booth, you can enjoy sweet potato shochu, craft beer, and unique snacks to get tipsy.

2 Hokkaido University Marche: A huge gathering of seasonal vegetables, sweets, and processed foods from all over Hokkaido

Hokkaido agricultural products and goods will be sold under the theme of "Hokkaido's food and agriculture to the people." The event is led by students from Hokkaido University, and features a wide selection of fresh seasonal vegetables, sweets, processed foods, and more, all made by finalists from the Hokkaido University Marche Awards. Another appealing aspect of the event is the opportunity to deepen your understanding of food and agriculture while speaking directly with producers from all over Hokkaido.

3 Halloween-only sweets and events will be held at "Shiroi Koibito Park Nya Halloween ~30th Anniversary~"

The popular Sapporo tourist spot, Shiroi Koibito Park, is holding its annual autumn Halloween event. Limited-edition sweets and menu items themed around black cats and horror will be available, filling the facility with a Halloween atmosphere. Limited-edition sweets include the "Black Cat Magical Fondue," which is infused with the magic of a black cat, and the "Ishiya Pancake Halloween," a Halloween version of the popular Ishiya pancakes.

There are also plenty of hands-on events, including cookie decorating, chocolate pie sandwich making, and a mission-style horror event at night. On October 25th and 26th, children in costumes will be admitted free, and there will be events for children such as a "candy hunt."
