Teshikaga Town is home to Lake Mashu, said to have the clearest water in Japan. The blue of the beautiful lake and the sky, along with the vast nature, are reflected on the water's surface as if in a mirror, further enhancing its beauty.

Kamifurano Town is also famous for its vast lavender fields. While the lavender is beautiful during the day, seeing it at night is romantic and offers a different kind of atmosphere. A light-up event is held every year in July.
