Country Papa's, a western-style restaurant with 5,000 square meters of land, is too amazing!
When you come to Country Papa's and open the menu list, you will surely feel annoyed. It is because everything looks so delicious that you will want to try a variety of dishes. The "Farm Lunch" (1,320 yen including tax) is a great choice for such an occasion, with more than 10 different ingredients all on one plate, making it a truly Instagram-worthy menu item.
In fact, this is one dish that should be synonymous with the restaurant. Country Papa's was originally a farmhouse that produced wheat, wheat, potatoes, and beans. Toward the end of the Showa period (1926-1989), he opened his farm to the public and began picking strawberries. Customers began to say, "It would be nice if we could have meals here as well," and so they opened a restaurant. In other words, because it is a farm restaurant, it is possible to have a farm lunch using an abundance of fresh vegetables.
Let me introduce another recommended menu item. Chicken with Herbs" (1,210 yen including tax). Tokachi chicken thighs are grilled with an original blend of herbs. Almost everything on Country Papa's menu is locally sourced. For example, vegetables are home-grown during the season, and everything else is sourced from Kaoi. Perhaps it is the use of fresh ingredients that makes all the pictures on the menu list look so delicious!
After enjoying your meal inside the wood-toned restaurant, it's time to look outside. Of Country Papa's total area of 5,000 tsubo, a whopping 4,000 tsubo is planted with lawn. Ponies and goats are also kept here and are very popular with children. Above all, the spacious lawn space is sure to refresh even adults just by standing there.
On the third Sunday in June, many classic cars gather on the lawn. The event is called the "Kampapa Car Fools' Gathering," and it has been going on for more than 20 years. The spectacle is so impressive that fans of classic cars can't help but drool over it.
One last thing. There are also two cottages on the grounds that can accommodate up to four adults each, with kitchens and all the cooking and eating utensils you need. The cottages can accommodate four adults each, and each cottage has its own kitchen, complete with cooking utensils and tableware, and many guests use the cottages as a base for their stay-and-go sightseeing.
After all, Country Papa is more than just a Western-style restaurant. Why not visit this farm restaurant filled with a wide variety of enjoyment to suit your tastes and purposes?
