This is the first-ever event hosted by Donguri, a popular bakery well-known to Sapporo residents. The venue is "anaBa," an open outdoor space right in the heart of Sapporo. Special limited-edition breads made just for this event will be available, along with special collaboration foods with famous soup curry restaurant "Okushiba Shoten" and a popular soft-serve ice cream shop. The venue will be transformed into a stylish, camp-like space filled with the pleasant sounds of jazz.

2 One of Japan's Largest Jazz Festivals! A Special Weekend Where Sapporo City Overflows with Music: "SAPPORO CITY JAZZ 2026 Park Jazz Live"

The "Park Jazz Live," the main event of Sapporo City Jazz, one of Japan's largest jazz festivals representing Sapporo's summer, will be held. During the festival, special stages will be set up in about 10 locations throughout the city, including Odori Park in the city center, as well as hotels and commercial facilities. Over 200 top-tier musicians, both professional and amateur, from Japan and abroad will gather to deliver a succession of unique and passionate performances.

The biggest appeal is that all venues are open with free admission and no prior reservations required, allowing you to casually enjoy live music by hopping between stages that catch your interest while shopping or sightseeing. You can enjoy the music in any way you like—surrender to the sounds outdoors with a cold drink in hand, feeling the refreshing early summer breeze, or find a favorite band and listen intently. The live contest where young talents compete fiercely is also a must-see.

3 A Summer Festival at Akapla Combining Hokkaido's Seasonal Flavors and Popular TV Shows: "HBC Akarenga Premium Fest: Itchan Oishii Summer Festival - Challenge Hokkaido, Delicious Hokkaido!"

A four-day festival will be held at Sapporo Kita 3-jo Plaza (Akapla), where you can enjoy summer delicacies, live broadcasts of popular TV shows, and experience popular show segments. You can compare a wide variety of exquisite dishes made with carefully selected local ingredients, such as a snow crab starchy sauce dish supervised by Chinese Cuisine Hotei, special gyoza born from a popular TV show, and unique original shaved ice creations brainstormed by announcers.

On the special stage at the venue, live public broadcasts and recordings of popular TV and radio shows will take place daily, offering a perfect chance to see your favorite personalities up close. There will be talk shows by celebrities, a famous quiz competition with luxurious prizes, and pleasant jazz live performances in the evening. On the weekend, a touch pool where you can interact with real sea creatures will be available, and there will be plenty of hands-on content, including movie costume exhibitions and a shop with limited-edition merchandise.
