The "Lavender Festa Kamifurano" is now underway at Hinode Park in Kamifurano Town! The main highlight is undoubtedly the nighttime light-up. The collaboration of lavender fields and light creates a magical, dreamlike scenery.

Lavender is the official flower of Kamifurano Town. Its cultivation began in 1948, and later, cultivation for tourism flourished. It was officially designated as the town's flower in 1981, marking this year as its 40th anniversary.
The "Lavender Festa Kamifurano 2021" runs until July 18th (Sun). The light-up can be seen from 19:00 to 21:00, except on the 17th.

Additionally, on July 17th (Sat), a mini-concert by voice actress Yui Makino, who is also a PR ambassador for Kamifurano Town, and a fireworks display will be streamed online. (Please note that entry to the venue will not be permitted on the 17th. In case of rain, the event will be postponed to the 18th.)
You can, of course, come and enjoy the magical light-up in Furano in person, but for those who can't make it, why not experience the atmosphere of a Hokkaido summer online!?
