Takino Suzuran Hillside Park, the only national park in Hokkaido, covers an area of 400 hectares. The grounds are divided into various areas, with different attractions for each season. In this article, we will introduce the areas that should be visited in autumn!

In addition, at the Country Garden's "Water Square," the autumn leaves were in splendid progress. The collaboration of the flow of water and the autumn leaves seems to give you peace of mind and healing just by looking at it.
Next up is the Takino Forest Zone. At Takino Suzuran Hillside Park, the nearest parking lot is set up according to the desired location, and if you present your receipt of the day (receipt), you can move between each parking lot for free on that day, so don't forget to show it!
Just a few minutes' walk from the south parking lot in the Takino Forest zone is the Forest Exchange Center. It is a good idea to stop by here first to get maps and other information you need to know. The Forest Exchange Center is huge beyond what you can imagine from the entrance on the parking lot side, and there is a maze-like tree house next to it.
As we walked out of the Exchange Center, our feet were like a colorful carpet of fallen leaves. The colors are truly unique to autumn.
If you want to fully enjoy the autumn scenery, you should definitely visit the Morimi Tower. You will be walking through the forest, but the path is well maintained for easy walking, so you can wear your regular shoes. After a pleasant walk through the forest, you will arrive at Morimi no To (Morimi Tower)!
What a quaint looking tower. Once up there, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the forests around Takino. The view is truly breathtaking.
The autumn leaves spreading out below are in splendid contrast with the blue sky above them. If you look out over the distance from a high vantage point, you will be able to blow away all the little things in your daily life.
You can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view from the Morimi Tower, so take your time to enjoy the slightly different view from different angles.
