The National Confectionary Exposition is a confectionary festival held approximately once every four years. The traditional grand event, which has been held for the past 100 years or more, traveling all over Japan, will be held in Asahikawa City.

Preparations are underway at the Executive Committee to create a confectionary exposition that will "spread smiles and accelerate excitement where there is confectionary," including an exhibition of crafted confections made from confectionary, expression of the charm of Hokkaido, a treasure trove of confectionary raw materials, and sales of Japanese and Western confectionaries from all over Japan and the whole country.

Advance ticket purchases will receive special services, making the Confectionary Expo a confectionary event that can be enjoyed even in the period leading up to the opening of the event.
