Overview

This is a major winter event in southern Hokkaido. Every year, a jumbo slide is set up, which is extremely popular with children, and there are also displays of impressive snow sculptures and ice carvings, which are forms of ice art. There is also a flea market and an exhibition and sale of local specialties, which visitors can enjoy.

During the festival, a variety of events will be held, and outdoor stalls will be set up. In addition to the events, the contrast between the silvery white Mount Komagatake and the icy blue sky of Onuma in winter creates a beautiful landscape. All involved parties look forward to welcoming you.
