The Asahiyama Night Zoo Restaurant, which was a huge hit last year, will be held again this year. This time, recipes created by students from Asahikawa Culinary College will be supervised by Chef Shimokuni, the Asahikawa Food Ambassador. The restaurant will offer a special menu featuring the cute animals of Asahiyama Zoo, using only high-quality Nanatsuboshi rice, a unified brand of rice from four agricultural cooperatives in the city, and plenty of seasonal Asahikawa vegetables.
