■About "Kawami"
The event was first held in 2017, and this year marks its ninth year. Last year, over 40,000 visitors brought excitement to the riverside. Japan has a charming culture of cherry blossom viewing in the spring, moon viewing in the autumn, and snow viewing in the winter. Among the charming customs of each season in Japan, there was no culture of viewing only in the summer.

The Toyohira River is a first-class river that flows through the heart of Sapporo, a city of 2 million people, and boasts a wonderful location that preserves the beauty of nature despite being in the heart of the city. If you're lucky, you can even see salmon swimming upstream in the fall on this beautiful river. Spend precious time with loved ones while watching the river flow and listening to its murmuring.
