The Sapporo City Comprehensive Disaster Prevention Drill, sponsored by Sapporo City, will be held at the Daiwa House Premist Dome for the first time this winter. The drill, held at the Dome for the first time this winter, is based on the theme of "Let's make this winter a winter of preparation," and features content that allows participants to realistically experience life in an evacuation shelter in the event of a major winter earthquake or disaster. The venue will feature exhibits that simulate life in an evacuation shelter in winter, such as experiences assembling cardboard beds and portable toilets, and tasting emergency food. A variety of experiential programs are also available, including drone operation and aerial work vehicle experiences, a VR disaster experience, and stage events. This event will deepen understanding and awareness of disaster prevention for everyone, from children to adults.
