Snow Brand Meg Milk Dairy and Milk History Museum

Let's learn and drink the history of dairy farming and dairy industry! Enjoy milk directly from the factory after the tour.

Snow Brand Meglik Co. is one of Hokkaido's leading dairy manufacturers. Its corporate museum, the Dairy and Milk History Museum, opened in 1977 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the founding of the company's predecessor, Snow Brand Milk Industry. The museum features approximately 850 exhibits, including dairy product manufacturing equipment, a 1/30 scale model of the factory, butter churns, and manufacturing machines used at the time of the company's founding. Tours are available by reservation only. After viewing the machinery used more than 50 years ago and a model of the current factory, visitors can see the process of milk production at the adjacent Sapporo Factory. After the tour, visitors can take home a milk souvenir.
