Re-live the excitement of the Sapporo Olympics. Experience the world of winter sports.
Located at the foot of the Okurayama Ski Jump Stadium overlooking the city of Sapporo, the museum has valuable materials related to the 1972 Sapporo Winter Olympics, exhibits of equipment used by athletes in past Winter Olympics, and medals and photos from each Olympics. The museum also features a large screen displaying the medals and photos of past Olympic athletes. The panoramic theater, which features many famous athletes from the past on a large screen, is also a must-see. You can feel the tension of the athletes as they compete. The "Experience and Experience Corner," where visitors can feel like an athlete by using simulators to experience jumping steps, bobsledding, and cross-country racing, is popular with adults as well. Visitors can deepen their understanding of winter sports through knowledge and experience.
