Sapporo Olympic Museum

A museum located at the foot of Okurayama Ski Jump Stadium that overlooks the Sapporo city area. Starting with valuable materials related to the Winter Olympics Sapporo Games held in 1972, you can learn history through the exhibition of equipment of athletes who were active in successive Winter Olympics, and medals and photos of each competition. Also, the panorama theater where numerous famous athletes from the past appear on a large screen is also a must-see. The tension of athletes facing the competition is conveyed. Also, using a simulator, the "Experience/Hands-on Corner" where you can experience the feeling of becoming an athlete, such as a jump takeoff, bobsleigh run, and cross-country race, is a popular corner that adults can also enjoy. Understanding of winter sports can be deepened with knowledge and experience.
