Aoba Park
Overview
Aoba Park is located southwest of the center of Chitose City and is one of the most nature-rich comprehensive parks in Hokkaido, with a total area of 102.3 hectares. The park has 17 facilities including a library, picnic plaza, Nakayoshi Hiroba, tennis courts, track and field, baseball field, and multipurpose plaza.
The cool fountain and walking paths surrounded by lush greenery attract many visitors for strolling and jogging. It is also a lively cherry blossom viewing spot in the spring.
