Kaguraoka Park
Overview
Kaguraoka Park is located in a corner of a hilly area south of Asahikawa Station, across the Chubetsu River that flows through the city. This is one of the city's most prominent cherry blossom viewing spots, where numerous Ezoyamazakura cherry blossoms bloom all at once from early to mid-May each year. During the blooming season, many visitors come, and the park becomes lively with cherry blossom viewing.
