Asahikawa City Museum
Encountering Ainu History and Culture
The museum exhibits many materials related to the history, culture, and nature of Asahikawa City and other parts of northern Hokkaido.
The permanent exhibition rooms are divided into two levels: the upper level (1st floor) and the lower level (1st basement).
Exhibits: Upper level: History and culture of the indigenous Ainu people, Lower level: Animals, plants, and people living in the bitter cold.

Fee
Adults 350 yen / High school students 230 yen / Asahikawa city residents 70 years and older 170 yen / Free for junior high school students and younger
parking lot
Free parking for about 400 cars is available behind the adjacent Asahikawa Daisetsu Arena.
About 10 large buses can also park there. However, it is not possible to make reservations as the space is shared with neighboring facilities. Please note that the parking lot may be full due to events and functions.
