In August 2000, it was registered as Hokkaido's 66th roadside station, "Asahikawa."

Roadside Station Asahikawa is located along National Route 237 and is just a five-minute drive from JR Asahikawa Station across the Crystal Bridge, making it easily accessible from the center of Asahikawa city.

In addition, Asahikawa City is served by four major national highways (National Highways 12, 39, 40, and 237), making it a very convenient roadside station as a central base for tourism within Hokkaido.

Roadside Station Asahikawa has a shop selling a wide variety of local products, a food court where you can sample local gourmet food, and provides tourist information and promotes the food and culture of northern Hokkaido.

The building also has a large exhibition hall where various events can be held, as well as rental rooms that can be used for training and meetings, so please feel free to use them.
