Krause No. 15 steam locomotive was manufactured at Krause Locomotive Works in Munich, Germany in 1889 (Meiji 22) and imported to Kyushu Railway Co. (Numata-cho) as a coal wagon hauler until December 1967. It is the oldest small steam locomotive still in existence in Japan.
