In 1968, the PTA members and teachers of Hekisui Elementary School worked together to cut down trees on the mountain, which was owned by the PTA chairman, remove the roots, and level the ground to open the resort. This ski resort was built by local residents. Powder snow, one slope for beginners, free rope lift, and night skiing available.
