SPOT
Fudo Falls
Fudo Falls was named "Fudo Falls" after pioneers enshrined three immovable statues of Fudo in a rock cave at the mouth of the falls in 1905 to commemorate the opening of the imperial estate. Located in the Hokkaido Nature and Scenic Area, the Taratsu River flows through the waterfall, which is 5m wide and has a drop of 7m. The seasonal coloring is beautiful in spring with the blossoms and cherry blossoms, and in fall with the autumn leaves.
When the water volume is high, rainbows can be seen in the western sunlight.
