This is the roadside station "Horonai, Village of Forests and Lakes" located on National Route 275, which runs through Horokanai Town.

<Seiwa Onsen Ruonto>
Seiwa Onsen Ruonto, the roadside station center house, was renovated and reopened in April 2020. The spring water, which springs from the foot of Mt. Mitsuto, is a reddish-brown sodium chloride spring that is effective for neuralgia and muscle pain.

<Restaurant "Soba no Sato">
After relaxing in the open-air bath "Mitsuyama no Yu," or stopping by during a drive, you can relax with a meal at the restaurant "Soba no Sato," including handmade soba noodles. In addition to handmade Horokanai soba noodles, the restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, including curry.

<Bungalow>
The five bungalows on the premises are air-conditioned and comfortable. Although the rooms do not have baths, you can use the fully-equipped "Seiwa Onsen Ruonto" hot springs, which are just a few minutes' walk away and feature an open-air bath.

<Roadside Station Product Hall>
This is the product hall of the roadside station "Forest and Lake Village Horokanai." There is a wide variety of souvenirs, including processed foods and sweets made with buckwheat, a specialty of Horokanai Town. In addition to the popular takeout gourmet food, the perennially popular "Kumazasa Soft Serve," there are also "Buckwheat Okara Donuts," "Buckwheat Honey Sundaes," and the "Buckwheat Gelato Cup," a collaboration product with a local high school. With a wide selection of cold buckwheat sweets, this is the perfect spot to stop by during a drive.

The soba shop "Gensoba-dokoro Maru" in the product hall is open on Wednesdays, when the restaurant "Soba no Sato" in Seiwa Onsen Ruonto is closed. They only serve hand-made cold soba at reasonable prices. If you are looking for souvenirs in the product hall, please stop by.
