This is Roadside Station 'Mori to Mizuumi no Sato Horokanai,' located on National Route 275, which runs through Horokanai Town.


'Seiwa Onsen Luonto,' the main building of the Roadside Station, was renovated and reopened in April 2020. The hot spring source, which flows from the foot of Mt. Santou, is a reddish-brown sodium chloride spring. It is effective for conditions such as neuralgia and muscle pain.


At Restaurant 'Soba no Sato,' you can relax with meals featuring handmade soba noodles, perfect for after a soothing hot spring bath or as a stop during a drive. In addition to handmade Horokanai soba, the restaurant offers a full menu of dishes such as curry.


This is the product hall of Roadside Station 'Mori to Mizuumi no Sato Horokanai.' It offers a wide variety of souvenirs, including processed goods and sweets made with soba, a specialty of Horokanai Town. Popular takeout items have been expanded; in addition to the long-standing favorite 'Kumazasa Soft Cream,' new items like 'Soba no Mi Okara Donut' (buckwheat seed and soy pulp donut), 'Sobamitsu Sundae' (buckwheat honey sundae), and 'Soba Gelato Cup,' a collaborative product with a local high school, have been added. The enhanced selection of cold soba sweets makes it a perfect spot to stop by during a drive.
