Furano Ski Resort
It consists of two areas: the "Furano Zone" where you can enjoy long courses, and the "Kitanomine Zone" with its wide variety of courses. In addition to eight lifts, it is also equipped with a six-seater gondola and a 101-seater ropeway. The ropeway takes about five minutes to reach the summit station.
Furano Ski Resort continues to be loved by many skiers as a world-renowned ski resort with extensive slopes and the best quality snow.
Furano Ski Resort first became known around the world during the FIS World Cup in 1977. Since then, the event has been held a total of 10 times in Furano, with the world's top skiers competing in heated races at each event. In addition, the resort also hosts a variety of competitions and events, including the Snowboarding World Cup, the National Athletic Meet, and the All Japan Championships.
