Furano Ski Resort
Furano Ski Resort first gained worldwide recognition at the 1977 FIS World Cup. Since then, Furano has hosted the FIS World Cup a total of 10 times, with the world's top skiers competing in each event. In addition, various competitions and events such as the Snowboard World Cup, the National Athletic Meet, and the All-Japan Championships are held in Furano.
The resort consists of two areas: the Furano Zone, where you can enjoy long courses, and the Kita-no-Mine Zone, where you can enjoy rich variations. In addition to eight lifts, the resort is equipped with a 6-seater gondola and a 101-seater ropeway. The ropeway takes approximately 5 minutes to reach the summit station.
Furano Ski Resort continues to be loved by many skiers as a world-class ski resort with well-developed slopes and excellent snow quality.
