Former Kanamori Western Goods Store (Municipal Hakodate Museum Local Materials Hall)
The "Former Kanamori Western Goods Store," built in 1880 (Meiji 13), was renovated and opened to the public as a historical museum.
It is of Japanese-Western eclectic, fire-resistant brick construction, and conveys Hakodate of the Meiji era to the present day.
Hokkaido Designated Tangible Cultural Property.
