Former Kanamori Western Goods Store (Hakodate City Museum Museum)
The former Kanamori Western Goods Store, built in 1880, was renovated and opened to the public as a museum. Built of fireproof brick in a blend of Japanese and Western styles, the building conveys Hakodate in the Meiji era. Designated as a Hokkaido Tangible Cultural Property.
