Former Hakodate West Police Station Building (Hakodate City Waterfront Research Institute)
Built in 1926 as a waterfront police station on the site of a shipping office at the time of the opening of the port, and later used as the Hakodate West Police Station until 1984. The current building was faithfully restored to its original appearance in 2007.
