"Kita no Sakura Mamoru Park (named after Sayuri Yoshinaga)" is an open set of the movie "Kita no Sakura Mamoru" starring actress "Sayuri Yoshinaga" that was filmed on location in Wakkanai City in 2017 and was roadshowed nationwide from March 10, 2018 as a movie documentation exhibition facility. The film "Kita no Sakura Mamoru" is a movie that starred actress Sayuri Yoshinaga.
The movie "The Cherry Blossom Guard of the North" is the 120th film starring Sayuri Yoshinaga, and is the final chapter of the "Northern Trilogy" following "Year One in the North" and "Canaries of the North". In Wakkanai City, filming took place at the "Kita no Sakura Mamoru Park", the Soya Hills, and the Wakkanai Port North Breakwater Dome.
The exhibition facility in the "Kita no Sakura Mamoru Park" includes related materials used in the film, scenes from the filming, and an AR (Augmented Reality) mechanism that allows visitors to take two-shot photos with Mr. Yoshinaga! The facility is free of charge, so please come and visit.
