Abira D51 Station Roadside Station
A roadside station that serves as a tourist information hub for Abira Town, bringing together the charms of nature, history, culture, and food.
The facility includes a local produce direct sales store, a take-out corner, a specialty product and bakery corner, a railway museum that has supported the town's history, and steam locomotives and other trains on display. Abira Town is also rich in specialty products such as cheese and Asahi melons, and is full of diverse attractions such as rapeseed fields spreading across the hills, lotus flowers that bloom in summer, a snowman post office, steam locomotives, a golf course, etc.
The city has also attracted attention nationwide as the breeding grounds of horses such as seven-time champion Deep Impact and Gentildonna.
