This pass has the highest elevation (1,139m) among all the national highways in Hokkaido. Below you can see a magnificent sea of trees, including Japanese figs, spruces, Erman's birch, and silver birch. The deep green of the sea of trees in summer and the yellow leaves in autumn are attractive. Don't miss the beautiful view of the sea of trees and Matsumi Ohashi Bridge. In addition, at the rest area next to the observation deck at Mikuni Pass, the owner's proud coffee and soft serve ice cream are popular.
