Lake Shumarinai Campsite
Overview
This lakeside campsite is located in Shumarinai Prefectural Natural Park. The campsite is divided into three sites, and you can pitch your tent wherever you like, whether that be in the woods or on the lawn. There are also coin showers and laundry facilities in the area, so you can enjoy the lakeside nature while staying comfortable. In spring, the area is lively with the chirps of wild birds and the beautiful blooming of wildflowers, pleasing to the eye. You might even come across some animals.
You can also enjoy fishing within the campsite (a fishing license is required), and many people pitch their tents in the sites near the lake and enjoy a leisurely day of fishing. The campsite has been designed to keep the lighting low so that you can enjoy the starry sky at night. On a nice day, be sure to look up at the night sky.
There are also three log cabins available for use year-round.
