SPOT
Musa Forest Green
The Musa Forest was originally maintained for many years as a snowbreak forest for the railroad, and remains untouched by nature. It is still a very rich natural forest with giant Quercus serrata trees over 400 years old and Haru elms.
In the spring, colonies of white-flowered golden-rayed lily of the valley are in full bloom, and in the summer, the day lilies bloom vigorously, displaying their beautiful flowers and fruits until the leaves turn red in the fall.
There are many species of wild birds in the area, with more than 50 confirmed, and many of them can be seen especially around June, when you can see many species of birds such as the red-headed woodpeckers and red-cockaded woodpeckers that live in the broad-leaved forests, as well as the prairie flycatchers and other birds.
