SPOT
Pacific Coal Mine Coal Mine Exhibition Hall
Overview
An exhibition hall, seemingly very small at first glance, quietly stands on top of a slightly high hill.
However, when you take one step inside, a faithfully reproduced underground simulated mine shaft spreads out, featuring Japan's largest (approximately 6 tons) lump of coal, working scenes, and coal mining machinery, among other things.
There is no doubt that you will be captivated by the powerful exhibits, unique to a coal mining town!!
It is an indispensable, hidden gem spot for learning about Kushiro's history.
